    Lightrail and freeshuttle handicapped access
Does anyone know if the lightrail and/or the shuttle are scooter friendly? I suspect my roommate will be getting a traditional scooter not a power chair and they are longer than wheel chairs so I just need to know how scooter friendly the bus and trains are.

It looks like a 2000 foot walk to the convention center from the hotel so I would have no problems never using transportation but I don't know the range of scooters. (how long the battery would last if we do that trip a couple of times a day.)

I suspect Denver locals will have a sense of this even if they are not scooter or wheelchair users.

    Handicapped Chair
A friend of mine e-mailed about scooter rentals but never received a reply. I think she found a service to rent her a scooter but enquiries should be answered.

    Short form dramatic presention recommend
Star Trek: The New Voyages - World Enough and Time. This was premiered in August 2007 and shown at the NASFIC and at the Worldcon in Japan. It is available on the internet.

I will avoid spoilers. It is comparable to an episode of the Original Show. True, you may be put off or confused by the fact that they have original characters such as Spock, Kirk and McCoy played by different actors who will seem way to young. I actually think the actor who plays Mr. Spock looks more exotic than Leonard Nimoy and looks more like what I would think a Vulcan would look like.

The story involves a young Sulu and an older Sulu played by George Takai. The episode had a great deal of humor in it but makes some good points. The special effects are rather good for a fan made production. God Bless CGI. I say, try it out. It may not be the level of the recent episodes of Doctor Who or the soon to be seen by folks in the Americas episodes of Torchwood but give it a chance. I would love to see a fan production such as this get a nomination.
